Will Your Project Ship on Time?

Will Your Project Ship On Time?

Hamid Shojaee, my dear friend and the CEO of Axosoft company, has an excellent blog with great write-ups about software business and software teams and previously I had some discussions about his blog posts.

In one of his recent posts, Hamid has started a new thread by creating a short test that lets software development teams, their members and their leaders to get an estimation of the shipment date failure probability of their project based on numeric values.

Hamid has created this test with some helps from Eric Sink and has ended up with a short, simple and effective test. His test contains seven questions about the project, team members, their skills and the methodologies that you have in your team and corresponds every possible answer to a positive or negative numeric value. The summation of all answers is a numeric value that lets you know about your schedule and its failure probability.

He’s also planning to make this an online web-based calculator to let everybody use it easily. Hamid is asking his visitors to leave his or her feedback about this test and take a few minutes to pass it.

Not only for himself but also for me (and maybe for some other guys) the results would be interesting and important so if you can, take a moment and leave your feedback and result.
