I got emails and comments from a few guys who were looking for new parts of my post series about building a simple blogging engine with ASP.NET MVC Framework and LINQ in .NET 3.5. I know that I promised to keep writing that series regularly but broke them after the first post and it's almost two weeks that I haven't written the second part.

I thought it would be better to send an update about this series here before you think I'm a liar! After writing the first part of this series, Steve contacted me about my interest in writing new articles for ASP Alliance and especially about ASP.NET MVC Framework that is now very popular among professional ASP.NET developers. You know that I've been a fan and author for ASP Alliance and wanted to help on this as much as I can. I couldn't send new articles to ASP Alliance for a few months because I was busy with book and other things. After thinking about his invitation and offer, I decided to move this series to ASP Alliance because of some reasons that I'll outline in a moment.

Publishing this series on ASP Alliance can have some benefits:

• I will pay more attention and will spend more time on articles because they will be published as article on a professional community. Obviously this improves the quality.
• ASP Alliance has a better target audience for this series because readers of this community are professional developers.
• An editor can help me to publish better content.
• I can help ASP Alliance as one of my favorite .NET communities.

However, I have already sent the first part of my series which is a modification and improvement of the first part on my blog and am in the process of writing the second part. Hopefully I'll keep writing new parts on a regular basis and will try to write a new part every week. But you would expect the first part published in the next couple of weeks because ASP Alliance articles should pass an editorial stage before getting published on the site publicly and holiday season may delay it for a very short while.
