God breathing through me

Happy New Year 2008

Photo taken from http://flickr.com/photos/sally_12/339912423/ It's 2008 and we just passed another year! Happy near year everyone! I hope that you have a great year ahead in a world with peace and freedom.

Nowadays it's becoming common among .NET bloggers to share their resolutions for the next year but most of my resolutions for 2008 are some long time plans from 5-6 years ago that I'm going to achieve them in the next year! For some reasons I'd prefer to keep my resolutions private for now but you see what will happen as long as time goes.

2007 wasn't a good year for me both technically and personally. Actually whole my life was affected by my military service. I began it with two months of training and finished it when was still serving in the armies! I'm not going to bother you again with details on my service but you can guess how much it could stop me from the success and probably you can notice it yourself.

When I got in I was just 22 and when I get out I'll be 24! In these 24 years I never had the opportunity to be a real human due to the limitations of rules, traditions, behaviors, people and many other things that do the same for all of young men in the country! 2008 is the year when I'll finish the service to get free from some of these rules and find the opportunity to save the rest of my life! In the recent 5-6 years I've been thinking, planning and trying for 2008 to pass it in the best form and now I'm very close to it.

2008 is a milestone in my life. Although I've been alive for these 24 years but will bear in this year again. I'm going to take from two options. One is good for me and I'm trying to achieve it. The other one is a failure option and in that case I may stop many things including my job around software and probably will choose a different job in that case.

However, you'll see what will happen as I will! There is no doubt that my life will be completely different in 2009 and there are many things that I'll do in the next year. After 2.5 years of reading this blog you should know me better and know that it's my tradition to try new things and beat them!

Aside this stuff, I'm going to have an active year on the community by better articles, blog posts and also working on some helpful open source projects.

At the end I'd ask you to pray for me because I really need it in 2008!
