I'm Keyvan Nayyeri, a 25 years old Ph.D. student at
the Computer Science department of
the University of Texas at San Antonio.
I'm also
a Software Architect and Developer and previously held a B.Sc.
degree in Applied Mathematics.
This is my blog where I publish content about various topics specifically Programming Languages and Compilers, Software
Engineering and Programming.
[Update: I have to say that this offer is no longer available. I received many requests in first a few hours. Thank you for your interest.]
Wiley, the publisher of my upcoming Professional Visual Studio Extensibility book, has started marketing for the book and contacted me regarding the ways that we can promote it.
As a part of our ways we're going to share free copies of the book with anyone who's interested to write reviews for the book on .NET communities or English blogs.
I've already started my work on promotion by contacting some community owners and other community leaders and active guys on the VSX community but as Wiley has outlined in its marketing guidelines and I 100% agree, blog is a good place (maybe the best place) to promote a book.
So since I have a great target audience on this blog from a wide range of technical guys especially .NET developers who may be interested in the VSX topic, I want to announce here that we're giving out free copies of the Professional Visual Studio Extensibility to people who meet the following conditions:
Aside this, there are some other ways to receive free copies or get good discounts.
This is for a limited time until the end of January 11, 2008 (Friday) and of course for limited number of copies and you can show your interest by leaving a comment for this post and filling the Email field (won't be displayed publicly) or contacting me via the contact page. I'll get your contact information and will pass it to Wiley and they will contact you in order to ship a free copy to your postal address after the release date.
As I said there is a list of .NET community owners, company managers and some community leaders that I have already contacted them and here I want to open doors for my blog readers.

I hope I get a positive reaction from you.
