RFC2396 URL 1.0 Released
Back in July 2007 and as a requirement for my implementation of Google Safe Browsing API in Subkismet, I started a separate open source CodePlex project for RFC2396 URLs. In August 2007 I released a Beta of this library and used its code in Subkismet 1.0.
However, there were a few minor issues in my Google Safe Browsing implementation in Subkismet. Phil and I had some plans to apply major changes in the project as well but our busy schedule hasn't let us to do that yet.
Today I found some free time to fix a few problems in my RFC2396 library in order to use it in Google Safe Browsing API in the upcoming version. I also finalized and released version 1.0 of this library that should be the last version of it since RFC2396 standards never change.
If you can remember from the past, RFC2396 library is licensed under a New BSD license so you can use it in your applications easily.
I uploaded the binary and source code on CodePlex in separate packages that you can download from here.
