My Military Service After Eighteen Months

Or it’s better to say: My Military Service Two Months Before the End!

Yes, I’m this close to the end of the hell! Regarding the official holidays and the number of days that I can take off, there shouldn’t be more than 25 working days remained of military service!

Tomorrow I’m going to start the 19th month and hopefully will finish it within the next six weeks to take the last three weeks off. This is just a plan but it’s subject to change!

Even though things are generally better than the first 14-15 months of the service but there are still some annoying things for me that I’d prefer to not talk about them anymore. I try to be patient and end this hell before it tackles me down!

This year we’re experiencing a hot summer and my older readers know that how I do feel about that! All in all, I just want to finish it and then think about the rest of my life.

As I stated before, I’m not happy for finishing the service as I never been happy for loosing anything. This is just an end to one of the many pains that I’m used to receive from the country!

It’s been almost two years that I haven’t been able to take a day off or enjoy anything. Unfortunately I’m split between a military guy and a technical guy and there isn’t any space between these two! With this limited time, I had to choose between resting and trying or loosing all the fun and keeping the progress and I chose the harder option!

I thought that I may be able to stretch and rest after the service but recently I found that I have a much longer path toward where I want to be. Since now I’ve planned my schedule for the next 6-7 months. I decided to do whatever I can and then stay and see what will happen. I tried hard and I ignored many things to this point for many years so I decided to victimize these six months as well. Albeit it was a really dangerous gambling on the best years of my life but within six months I’ll believe how this world is organized and if I was right or wrong! Can you enjoy the binary form of our world?!

It’s a long time that I haven’t had any achievement that really makes me happy! Happiness is eluding and I no more want to catch it! I’m totally exhausted and there is nothing that catches my interest!

After all, have you noticed that how negative I am when it comes to my personal states? Yes, I know, but what can I do?!

Our situation are same except that I exempted of millitary services. I have a lot of problems in our country. Now I'm working in an IT company but because they don't know what's what, they don't pay attention to me and my work. They think programming is like a piece of cake. Because of that I can not earn enough. But because some people have master of science or something like this, He/She must earn more. As a matter of fact, they don't know what's what in programming. In our country they will not pay attention to you unless you have some connections or some non-valuable certifications like universities certifications. When a man go to pass his millitay services, he will lost 2 years of his life (His best part of life) and after that have to start working in order to have a reasonable life, but who can? In my opinion, Pass the millitay service and then go abroad.

@Mohammad:

I partially understood your comment but I don't think we are in the same situation! Interestingly, I think that we're too far away!

Regarding your suggestion, why didn't you leave the country yourself?

@Mohammad:

When you were talking about the same situation, I thought we're at the same age. Btw, where are you going to reside, hopefully?

In answer to your question: I neither work for any local company nor do any contract work with them!

@Keyvan:

When I took my last certification (MCITP) from Dubai, I had some offers. The best one was from Eidos Inc. I think now I cannot work there now because maybe they found somebody else.

As a matter of fact, I want to start from Dubai and then go somewhere else.

If you have any suggestions at all please tell me; Because I think you're one of people who can help me out in this case.
