Manchester United Champions
Two weeks ago I wrote about my beloved soccer team and the Barclays Premier League champion, Manchester United FC.
Yesterday and in the final match of UEFA champions league, Reds proved their power and beat Chelsea in the second league again. After the match, it was too late here so I went to bed and couldn't write about this sweet game.
This final match wasn't very exciting like the previous matches of Manchester or Chelsea and finally penalties chose the champion. Heavy rain in Moscow was a stop point for both teams (especially for Manchester) and somehow helped Chelsea on its goal.
It's very cool to see that Manchester is the champion here as well. Chelsea's fans were trying to challenge the great success of Red Devils in Barclays Premier League recently and were promising for this match and this stopped them very well.
As a big fan of Manchester, I'm so happy of this result and am more than happy to see that they could get champion in two leagues in less than 12 days.
However, like Andy (see his comment), I'm awaiting for Granville Barnett to say something about his beaten team!
Congratulations to all Manchester United fans around the world!

@Granville Barnett:
I agree with the fact that both teams are great and it's excellent to see them both on top.
But don't forget that the accident was your goal. Accident was that not what we did!
Btw, good job on what you did in the past season. I'm happy to see such a great power coming out from the England!
I agree that our goal was a mistake by you, but don't forget we hit the post twice in the second half!
The accident I was referring to was JT slipping over while taking the penatly that would of won it for us.
But what's done is done, penalty shootouts are always cruel - it truly is a lottery. I think next season though we will both be up there, and I truly believe we will win everything next season. We've had a weird season with out manager being sacked randomly two or three months in the season. I'm surprised we ran you so close and got to the CL final based on that alone.
Looking forward to next season!
No better league in the world than ours, used to be tied with La Liga a few years ago but now I think our teams are a lot stronger.
p.s. call me Granville, no need to be so formal!
@Granville:
Yes, sure penalties are cruel. Let's see if you can get champion next season! I think it's very soon to talk about this.
And yes, no better league than Barclays Premier League. Everyone should agree with this.
And finally about the name: I'm not formal. I use your full name (as you've typed in the comment form) to send you the automated notification email. This is a plug-in that I've written myself for Graffiti and it's sensitive to this pattern.
@Granville:
Van der Sar would have reached the ball had HE NOT SLIPPED (on the Lampard goal), and it would've been over in regulation time. You hit the post thrice (including JT), but we missed the open net THREE times. In the end, it was luck, I agree and it would have been luck if we lost.
And as far as Champion's League finals go, this was the best I've seen. Even the 99 victory was totally boring save the last 3 minutes.
See you int he next season :)
No matter how you look at it, United are European champs ;-)
MAN UNITED IS GREAT! THE TEAM SHOWED HIS CHARACTERS DURING THE WHOLE SEASON...PLAYERS LIKE RONALDO, ROONEY, TEVEZ IN THE ATTACKING SIDE HAD BEEN VERY REMARKABLE...MAN U WON THE PREMIER LEAGUE TITLE...AND THE WINNER OF THE EUROPEAN CUP! MAN U REALLY DESERVE IT....BUT IT WAS A TOUGH GAME AGAIN CHELSEA BUT LUCK AND GOD WERE IN THE SIDE OF THE RED DEVILS...DUE TO THE ONE AND ONLY CRISTIANO RONALDO WHO CAME FIRST IN THE GOALS SCORERS!! THAT BOY MERIT LOTS OF APPLAUSE....
LIVE LONG UNITED!!!!

2 things:
1- our goal was against the run of play, BUT it was well taken nonetheless; and
2- the game was ours and essentially an accident gave you the game.
But with that said it was always going to be hard as in my opinion there is nothing seperating Chelsea and ManU and they are clearly the two best teams in europe.
Just to preempt any "we beat you easy" etc I invite you to actually go to the BBC news site and watch videos of Vidic and Ronaldo being asked if they deserved to win, neither said yes - both said penalties are a lottery.
I think next season we will win both the league and champions league, its good for english football that the two strongest teams in europe are from england the country that invented football.
Congrats to ManU BUT in the last 2 games you've played against us you have NOT beaten us in either, rather we have beaten you in 1 of the 2.
Congrats - but its a heartless victory.
