Happy New Year 2009
And then 2009 began! It’s sweet to start a new year with happiness, so happy new year to you my dear readers! I hope you’ve had a good year and have a better year coming.
I’m smoothly losing the passage of time in a boring life that I’m wrestling with. The past years, specifically 2007 and 2008, were bad years for me when I had faced with many difficulties that you’re aware of them to some extent. Although they’re gone, I feel much older and exhausted of what has happened to me.
When I go back and forth and review my last year’s post, I realize that sometimes things go whether we want or not, and whether we do anything for or against them, but the most important point is how we pass them not how they go! My military service was one of those cases that I had to pass, but I’m happy that I could get the best of the worst and did my job despite all the controversy things. This is something that I want to recommend my personal experience to you to try to believe in god, stay strong, be persistent, and not give up to just spend the time!
On one hand, I must thank God for letting me to have least possible mistakes in my life, and on the other hand, I’m sad that I’ve faced with many difficulties enforced by environment and laws that are really annoying because it’s difficult to see yourself in trouble for what you have not done; however, I’m still happy that I’m someone who makes wise decisions after all. If I were a guy with big mistakes, I had to be kicked out of the world!
To be honest, 2009 is a very sensitive year in my life that declares my path in the rest of it. Of course, whole the life specifically the young-hood is important, but for me 2009 is definitely a highlight. As time passes, I’ll write about my status, but it’s certainly a sensitive path ahead!
Even though I have passed two arduous years, I’m still optimistic about 2009, and I hope that 2009 can erase the bad memories of the past 6-7 years for me and refresh my mind. All in all, I think 2009 can show its face to me in the first quarter, so I can judge on it very soon!
Thankfully, I began the new year with a great day and finally met my best and old friend, Mehrdad, after almost three years that he was away. Mehrdad has been living in Austin but this Christmas was a great opportunity to see him back in Tehran for a few weeks. I think we both had difficult years in two sides of the world, but it was such a great new year present for me to spend the first day with him.
By the way, stay tuned for an upcoming post about my resolutions for 2009!
