Building a Simple Blog Engine with ASP.NET MVC and LINQ - Part 1

There is no doubt that it's my day on .NET community! Just a few hours after publishing my article about writing a provider model on DotNetSlackers now my other article and first part of my article series about Building a Simple Blog Engine with ASP.NET MVC and LINQ is published on ASP Alliance.

Microsoft released the first CTP of ASP.NET 3.5 Extensions and it includes ASP.NET MVC Framework as one of the main extensions for ASP.NET 3.5. In the first part of this article series about building a simple blog engine with ASP.NET MVC and LINQ, Keyvan introduces the MVC pattern, ASP.NET MVC Framework, and the fundamentals of a simple blogging engine.

I had written that I've moved my posts about building a simple blog engine with ASP.NET MVC and LINQ to ASP Alliance to publish them as an article series. This article is the first part of that series which is actually an improved version of the blog post that I had written on my blog.

However, in the first part of this series I give an introduction to Model View Controller (MVC) pattern, ASP.NET MVC framework, basics of KBlog (which is the simple blog engine that I'm going to build in this series) and some other basic information about creating ASP.NET MVC applications and a few resources for further reading.

In the next parts of this series I'll step in details about main aspects of ASP.NET MVC framework to implement KBlog with sample codes to show you the process of development.

For now, you can ready the first part from here.
