Barclays Premier League Champion
Regular subscribers may already know that I'm a Manchester United soccer team fan.
Those who follow soccer news, would know that today Red Devils won their last match in Barclays Premier League 2007/08 (with Wigan) and got champion for the second consecutive year.
This season was Manchester's season. I think that there is no doubt that the Reds passed a great season and simply can be considered as the best soccer club in the world this year.
A great collection of soccer stars like Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez, Scholes, Ferdinand and Giggs with a great leader like Sir Alex were an amazing combination that brought us an enjoyable soccer! It's been quite a long time that I couldn't see such a professional progress for a soccer team in a season from the beginning to the end!
Also Manchester has been able to get to the final match of UEFA Champions League (which will be in Moscow in 10 days) and has a good chance to win there as well.
However, congratulations to all Manchester fans around the globe!

@Granville Barnett:
I think it's just a matter of British and American English for soccer and football ;-)
By the way, time has proven everything and you're now the second team :-D
I am just bitter, excuse my rants :-)
BUT we will have the last laugh! :-)
there's no doubt about manU winning the championship game with their opponent.. they'r always saving the best for last matches.. and they have proved it for a lot of seasons there is..
keep up with your next match team manU.. it's always their season and this time... they have made it.
@Granville - such a shame you drew Bolton 1:1 on the day then :P
@Granville Barnett:
I saw your laugh after yesterday's match with Bolton :-D
@Andy Stopford:
I totally agree :-P
:-)
Well when the captain is down and out within the first 15 mins you know things aren't going your way! But for Bolton to score in the last minute of extra time is annoying - we will still beat ManU in the Champs League final, just like we beat you a few weeks ago.
Revenge is a dish best served cold :-)
muwhahahahahahahahahaahahhaha!
...seriously come 9 days time we will see who wins - if you do then fair play, but I don't think you will.
@Granville Barnett:
9 days is a short while so we can see what will happen in Moscow even though we already have made it :-D
oiii Granville Barnett why you talking about the past??? talk wats happening in the present...and u said "When Grant took over Chelsea we nearly beat you in the league"..but u didnt beat us...and u better learn even if we won by 1point or our goal average is one more than u...winning is winning thts all and there is not but!!...now bring ur arse on champions league if u ready to get it loose:D..xD...
cheers
@granville - United, European champs......thats all I have to say :P

A few things:it's called football, and ManU are not the best team in the premiership - they are not better than us (Chelsea). Last time we played you we beat you.
You will not beat us in the Champions league final.
Progress? When Grant took over Chelsea we nearly beat you in the league - from my point of view you were rubbish it was only that we had a bad start to the season that you won - and just!
I predict that we will absolutely batter you next season! Unless you can't tell I despise ManU! :-)
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :-)
