ASP.NET 3.5 Extensions CTP Released
As Scott announced it on his blog, first CTP of ASP.NET 3.5 extensions released as a single package today.
This package consists of some different pieces:
- ASP.NET AJAX Improvements
- ASP.NET MVC
- ASP.NET Dynamic Data Support
- ASP.NET Silverlight Support
- ADO.NET Data Services
For myself, improvement to ASP.NET AJAX, new ASP.NET MVC Framework and ASP.NET Silverlight support are more important than others because have been dealing with them.
ASP.NET MVC Framework was one of things that I've been following seriously not because I love Phil (or maybe because of it) but mainly because it was one of items in my wish list for ASP.NET. This MVC Framework is a great addition to ASP.NET 3.5 that I hope Microsoft renames it to something more specific in newer versions.
I'd recommend you to follow three blogs about this MVC Framework: Scott Guthrie, Phil Haack, Rob Conery.
If you want to be a good person and get in heaven then go ahead and download this CTP and learn how to use and apply its pieces in your web applications!
