Windows Live Writer 2008 Released

Windows Live Writer It's been over a year since the first release of Windows Live Writer.  In August 2006, this new Live product broke the blogging news and since then it has helped many bloggers around the world to keep blogging easier and better.  Even though we saw some Beta releases of this product in this year with lots of new features but never saw an stable final version until a few days ago when Microsoft announced Windows Live Writer 2008 as the first stable and final version (why I didn't see the announcement at that time and found it via DotNetKicks today?!).  This version doesn't come with many major changes but has a few new features though.

Live Writer is the tool that I use to update this blog and have used its Beta versions since last year when I switched from BlogJet to this free tool.  It seems that Windows Live platform team have been busy recently and announced cool stuff for users.

If you can remember, I had a blog post about writing a Windows Live Writer plugin just a day after its first Beta release and it could get excellent popularity and I'm happy to see that it has become a good start point tutorial for newbies to develop good plugins for this product.
