My 23rd Birthday

Passing 23 and beginning 24 has a different feeling now!  I think being 23 years old is a little different from being 22 or 21 years, isn't it?!  It's like leaving an stage and beginning another!

I'm moving from this stage of my life when I'm forced to do the worst thing that I ever could anticipate and waste over two years of my life on such stupid things like a required military service and dealing with idiots.  Although I've already passed eight months but 12 months (simply a year!) are remained.  For someone like me who worries about even a day, missing over two years in this age is a disaster!  However, this service is the last pain that I endure from this country and won't behave like this if they try to suffer me anymore!  I think it's a very basic human right to decide to what to do!

Beside the negative stuff, I have a very very sensitive year ahead!  Next year this time, I'm taking off to finish this service and begin a completely new life in two weeks!  During the next year I have to do many things that should change my future!  I've already started the progress to achieve my goals and hope that you pray for me in this way.

Anyway, it's my birthday and I should be happy so happy my birthday!

Happy Birthday!! Keyvan, I know you're worried about wasted time but seriously you've probably accomplished more this past year than many people would in five or ten years. Look at all the things you've still managed to work on while still doing your military service. Sure maybe you haven't been able to spend more time on the projects you've wanted to, but on the other hand it's probably been a good experience in setting priorities and managing the time you do have. It might even be true that the less time you've had to work on the things you enjoy doing makes you more passionate and focused on those projects when you do have the time because you're not taking the time for granted (if that makes sense). I wish you the best for this upcoming year! I'm confident you'll reach your goals. Just try to focus more on the positive rather than the negative. :)

Thank you, guys :-) Dave, Thanks for your comment. I totally agree with you. You're right that I usually think about negative stuff rather than positive sides of things. However, I think this helps me to be more serious on my works. I hope that I can achieve my goals in the next year because they will change my life forever and are very very important for me.
