Nayyeri.NET Has Been Upgraded to Community Server 3.0.20214.502

[Update: Community Server 2007 Beta 1 is released.]

Finally I upgraded my site to Community Server 2007 pre-Beta 1 (build 3.0.20214.502).  Sorry for 55 minutes of down time (you know it's a milestone!).

As I said new site comes with new Mollio template.  In addition to great additions to Community Server itself, my site comes with a few changes.

The most important change is adding policies for commenting system and contact form (they're just my drafts for testing purposes, final texts will be added very very soon).  I listed everything in some details to let visitors know some information about these two systems.  Commenting policy helps you to be sure your comment will be published and won't be removed by me or spam blocking rules.  There have been many comments that I had to delete manually.  In my opinion commenting system can improve a site if site owner and its visitors try to keep it with a good quality.  One of my primary reasons to start Nayyeri.NET was a close collaboration with my visitors about my stuff.  Before that I was blogging with disabled commenting systems on other blogs.  But as you see commenting is enabled for all posts here.  Recently I experienced that some guys are sending non-English and unrelated comments so I decided to let commenter knows I will delete his comment quickly.

Contact form policy helps you to make sure you will get a response and helps me to keep my mailbox cleaner.  As service is starting I want to get rid of some emails.  What I wrote are some obvious points that we (as some developers who are blogging) know but we always get lots of boring emails in our mailboxes.

As a new addition avatar of commenter will be shown with his comment (if they're a registered member and have an avatar uploaded).  This is for test and temporary and I should see how visitors will use it before my service.  Here I'd like to ask you to register and upload your photos (find links at footer).

Template still needs more work and I will try to make it better before service.  This Mollio is really complicated!  That was just a mistake to import it to Community Server!!  Please let me know if there is a problem or you have any suggestion.

One of things that I wanted to apply to new template was reducing the number of advertisements but I think they make my template beautiful so keep them here for now!

You will see first public Beta release of Community Server 2007 very soon.

The theme looks great Keyvan! I followed your recommendation and signed up at your site, to be able to get notifications for comments and such. And also be able to set an avatar for my user. I might be blind, but I can't find a login link on your site. :-) Now I now I could login anyway, but some users might not know that.

J-O, Thanks for noticing. Actually I had pointed to link position in my post body. It's at footer. I know it's not a good place but I'm lazy to find a better place for it at top ;-) And also I should work more on avatars to render them correctly because currently Community Server renders them with smaller size and quality.

Yeah I noticed the link in the footer after I posted the comment. It was the last place I looked. :-) Strangely the signup email after signing up at your site has still not arrived.

I like your Mollio template. Looks nice! Moreso, I really like the idea of a commenting policy like you've included here. I think that's an excellent idea. It also defines what visitors should expect when posting comments.
